Job DescriptionSince 1917, Globe Machine has been a manufacturer of industrial machines, systems, and plants for advanced composites, building products, and pulp & paper.This Inside Sales Representative will possess a solid understanding of industrial components and will be responsible for generating part sales opportunities via phone, email or other electronic communication. This role will also successfully respond to customer order and quotation requests. Position will be located in Tacoma. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prospect and deliver for new sales opportunities by generating leads via outbound cold calls and email correspondence.
• Take phone calls from customers to provide assistance with quotes, pricing and expediting.
• Provide customers with accurate price, delivery and technical information, upon request.
• Perform follow-up to ensure timely shipment of materials and customer satisfaction.
• Interact effectively with customers to develop a personal awareness of their needs.
• Work in a professional manner to resolve customer's problems and issues, using all the available resources at hand.
• Assure that all adjustments, product returns, credits and other pertinent dealings are performed accurately and timely with proper documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associates Degree or higher education preferred.
  • Proven success with inside sales in a technical or industrial setting within a large company preferred.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams and electrical schematics preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Experience with AutoCAD 2012 and MS Project strongly preferred.
  • Team player with a natural ability to collaborate with management, sales team, engineers, shop personnel, customer service and field service personnel required.
  • Proven track record of independently managing clients and their account retention and growth strongly preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently, retain a sense of urgency and meet strict timelines required.
  • Conduct oneself with the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards.
