Job Description:

Position: Inventory Control Coordinator

Location: Tacoma, Washington

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Type: Full-time, Long-Term, Temp to Hire (based on performance)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00am with mandatory overtime (to include some weekends) - may work as late as 6:00p (12 hour days).

Pay: Up to $24/hr to start

One of our clients, an established third-party logistics (3pl) company is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Coordinator to start immediately!

Job Description:

Responsible for implementing and maintaining item/location level inventory plans for the warehouse
???????Analyze forecast cycles for product slotting plan
Monitor inventory pipeline, anticipate, and proactively communicate issues, and develop mitigation plans for any pipeline gaps
Partner with replenishment team to ensure proper execution of inventory plans, ensuring desired in-stock levels are achieve
Drive inventory and replenishment strategies to support replenishment projects such as, promotions, events, seasonal, product entry/exit
Subject matter expert in planning/replenishment functions of WMS and uses the system capabilities to troubleshoot and manage issue
Slotting inventory to right location in the right quantity to support operations while also improving inventory accuracy
Analyzes inventory performance, develops insights, and translates into strategies to support operations and inventory accuracy
Monitor and report on important changes and/or challenges in a timely manner to support sales and financial objectives
Troubleshoot inventory issues such as, creating new items in the WMS, WMS location maintenance, and on-the-fly location discrepancies
Leading cycle counting planning and execution
Review and approve cycle count discrepancies
Item/location/order audits

Job Requirements:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS office
???????Strong analytical skills
Self-driven and highly motivated
Approaches problems with curiosity and is solution oriented
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
