  About Being a Field Surveyor
  KPG Psomas has an opportunity for an entry-level Field Surveyor to join our team! No experience required, as our talented and seasoned field surveyors are eager to help train you. Our field surveyors are responsible for visiting various job sites and making precise survey measurements utilizing robotic total stations, digital levels, and network GPS rovers. Our Survey Department is currently involved in a wide variety of project work, including roadway and interchange improvements, boundary work, subsurface utility networks, airports, and construction layouts.
  
  This position involves travel to job sites located throughout Washington, mainly in the greater Puget Sound area.
  
  Responsibility Highlights for our Field Surveyors:
  
  • 
    
  • Work independently to complete control networks, topographic surveys, construction staking, level loops, monument recovery, and as-built surveys.
    
  • Plan daily field work, take field notes, and complete projects within budget.
    
  • Perform other duties as needed.
    Minimum Qualifications to be our Field Surveyor
    
    • 
      
    • High School diploma or equivalent
      
    • Valid Driver License (daily inspection includes travel to various job sites)
      
    • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
      
    • Ability to pass a standard drug and alcohol test
      
      
      Preferred Qualifications to be our Field Surveyor
      
      • 
        
      • Familiar with performing topographic and boundary surveys
        
      • Familiar with GPS equipment
        
        
        Availability Specific to our Field Surveyors
        This is a full-time position. Work schedule is normally Monday through Friday 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m.PI175292909
