We're a stable employer making high-quality asphalt shingleson The Port of Tacoma.Essential Duties And Responsibilities : may include some or all of the following:Inspects trucks daily verifying that truck is safe to drive and fills out inspection sheet.Loads and unloads products from trucks.Fills and unloads products from trucks.Drives truck to pick-up location for raw materials and delivers finished goods as necessary.Transports products in a safe and timely manner.Cleans work area and equipment.Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.All other special projects or tasks as assigned.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Education/Experience:High school education or equivalent.Requires basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.Ability to drive trailer and tanker trucks.Maintain a Class A commercial Washington State driver's license with hazmat endorsements.Maintain a TWIC cardAbility to operate a forklift and be forklift certified.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feelReach with hands and armsTalk and listenStand, walk, and sitBend at the waistLift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Regular attendance is requiredPABCO-- Roofing Products, a division of PABCO-- Building Products, LLC, began manufacturing premium asphalt shingle in Tacoma, Washington in 1984.
