MID-RISE RESIDENTIAL PROJECT ARCHITECT Downtown Seattle, Washington Office Position: Project Architect / Technical Design Architect Architectural Projects Practice Group: Mid-Rise Residential, Multifamily, Hospitality, and Mixed-Use Residential Projects Office Location: Downtown Seattle, Washington 98101 Top ranked and prestigious national Architecture and Planning Consulting firm actively seeks intermediate to senior level experienced Project Architect to join our dynamic mid-rise residential projects practice group. This is a long-term full-time career opportunity within our beautiful Downtown Seattle, WA office. Overall Role and Job Responsibilities for this Mid-Rise Residential Project Architect Include: - Handle technical and production aspects of architectural projects - Guide architectural design team through the construction documentation process - Check for code compliance, coordinate with consultants / contractors and develop construction details - Understand design intent and goals for successful implementation - Assist in the design control / construction administration phase of architectural projects - Maintain firm-wide documentation procedures and standards - Support project management in staffing, fee estimating and scheduling - Assist Project Manager with proposals / budget development and project status updates - Assist Project Manager with client coordination - Provide technical guidance to project staff - Assist in performance review feedback for project staff - Serve as secondary point of contact in client communications - Possess full knowledge of industry best practice standards and expectations The Successful Mid-Rise Residential Project Architect will have the following Qualifications and Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's of Architecture is preferred - Architectural licensure preferred not required - Minimum of 5 to 12 years of architectural industry work experience - Past architectural project experience with mid-rise residential projects and a good understanding of Type V construction - Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills - Proficient with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, hand sketching / detailing - Experience with jurisdictional planning approvals, entitlements and research, presentations and site planning - Experience with building material research / implementation and sustainability OUR FIRM AT A GLANCE: For over 40 years our firm has created innovative spaces for clients.
