Job Description:

A company is looking for a Coding and Charging Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze medical documentation to assign diagnoses, procedures, and charge codes
Adhere to coding guidelines and ethical coding standards
Have a working knowledge of payment and charging methodologies

Qualifications:

At least 6 years of coding and/or charging experience in ICD-10-CM/PCS and/or HCPCS/CPT coding
A.S. degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or related field, or equivalent clinical experience
Certifications in relevant coding specialties
Advanced knowledge of coding classification systems, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask
