Base Salary Range:
$20.99 - $26.24 - $31.49 per hour

Position Overview:
Heritage Bank has an exciting opportunity to join our
organization!
The Digital Banking Specialist - Online Accounts Opening position
is responsible for providing professional, technical, general and
project support to the department management team and will assist
with overseeing the timely and accurate processing of and
administrative activities related to the Online Account Opening
solution and third party integrations. When performing assigned
duties, ensures compliance with operational and regulatory
policies, and procedures to mitigate risk
The successful candidate will be able to:
* Collaborates with the management team and training department to
design, develop and implement training to staff members across
multiple business units. Ensure applicable training guides are
current and implements improvements in a timely and accurate
manner.
* Assists with analysis of processes and makes recommendations to
management for streamlining functions, improving efficiency and
enhancing the accuracy and quality of work.
* Acts as an escalation point for team members to resolve issues.
Research non-routine and complex or escalated issues and concerns,
both internally/externally, and communicates findings and/or
resolutions to management and appropriate parties, in a timely
manner.
* Recommends, writes and implements department procedures to ensure
adherence to Bank policy and industry regulations. Communicates and
implements approved revisions to team members in a timely
manner.
* Assists, maintains and updates SOP's and job aides in a timely
and accurate manner.
* Track department activities timely and accurately; prepare
reports as requested
* Partners with management teams to support new, existing or
prospective customer requests. Maintain up to date and thorough
knowledge of programs, products and services.
* Maintains proficient knowledge of, and ensures bank activities
are performed in compliance with, all state and federal banking
laws and regulations applicable to areas of responsibility.
* Contributes to the success of the department with willingness to
share in all department responsibilities and provide back-up
assistance to team members and management team, as required or
assigned
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent required. Coursework and/or
certification in accounting; or relevant education - preferred.
* 3 years recent experience in bank operations, electronic /
digital banking and/or retail banking, which includes working
knowledge of consumer online / mobile banking, and regulatory
compliance and a minimum of 1 year in a lead role, in a financial
services industry - required.
* Recent working knowledge and experience in multiple digital
banking services (Debit/Credit Cards, Business / Consumer Online
Banking, Bill Pay, RDC etc.) and EFT processing - preferred.
* Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may
be considered.
* Provides an exceptional level of quality service for
internal/external customers; responds to customers' needs,
questions and concerns in an accurate, effective, and timely
manner.
* Exemplary ability to maintain and manage personal composure when
confronted with a difficult situation and/or customer, with the
ability to provide clients with information, data, advice and
solutions, as well as gain their trust and respect.
* Highly developed interpersonal and written/verbal communication
skills demonstrating the ability to communicate technical issues
over the phone, in person and via email, and clearly and
persuasively in a variety of settings, formats, and audiences; with
the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well.
* Process oriented, with ability to evaluate and improve practices
and update and maintain written procedures and training
materials.
* Strong working knowledge of bank accounting practices including
the understanding of debit/credit relationships; math skills to
calculate interest, balance accounts and locate routine
mathematical errors.
* Detail oriented with advanced organizational, problem-solving,
data review and time management skills; identify and resolve
exceptions; interpret data and manage multiple assignments, goals,
and reporting requests, ensuring that priorities are set and
commitments and deadlines are met, with minimal direction and
supervision.
* Understands and applies principles, procedures, compliance
requirements, federal/state regulations, and policies related to
assigned area, as well as the Bank's policies, procedures,
products, and services.
* Unquestionable integrity in handling sensitive and confidential
information required.
* Proficient PC experience using MS Office products (Word, Excel,
Outlook); and working knowledge of financial services industry core
processing and automated banking systems, i.e., Fiserv or
equivalent; with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
quickly.
Work Environment:
* Climate controlled office environment.
* Work involves being able to concentrate on the matter at hand
under sometimes distracting work conditions and frequent
interruptions during the day.
* Work requires regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to
agreed-upon schedule with willingness to work a flexible and/or
rotating schedule and/or extended hours, as needed.
Physical Demands:
* Work may involve the constant use of computer screens, reading of
reports, and sitting throughout the day.
* Ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone,
photocopier, scanner, and facsimile which often requires dexterity
of hands and fingers with repetitive wrist and hand motion.
* Typically sitting at a desk or table; intermittently standing,
stooping, bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching to file
materials.
* Occasional lifting 5 lbs. (files, boxes).

Salary Range Disclaimer

Bank's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary
depending on factors including, but not limited to, qualifications,
experience, and job performance. The range listed is just one
component of Heritage Bank's total compensation package for full
time and part time employees. Depending on position, other total
compensation rewards may include, monthly, quarterly or annual
incentive, and/or bonuses.
