Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY:This job is responsible for
designing/developing/testing/maintaining a trusted
database(s)/datawarehouse(s) of authoritative core information that
can be used consistently across theorganization and will evolve in
a managed manner to facilitate operational/decision supportsystems
and meet changing business needs/priorities. An incumbent develops
technicalprocesses for integrating, aggregating, matching,
consolidating, quality-assuring and distributing data collected
from multiple sources to ensure a common definition, consistency,
accuracy and control in the ongoing maintenance and usage. Work
also involves designing and producing a wide variety of complex
custom and internally-developed balanced scorecards,
dashboards,reports, analytics/metrics and associated business
intelligence tools in support of VirginiaMason Franciscan Health's
(VMFH) business objectives, priorities and strategic initiatives.
Key areas of focus include trend reporting, forecasting, in-depth
analysis of clinical/operational metrics and design/definition of
meaningful metrics for new/existing
initiatives/services/products.Work also includes:? Determining most
credible data sources, abstracting technique and format to use
tobest deliver outcomes to intended audiences;? Keeping abreast of
changing organization needs and priorities, and identifying
qualityimprovement initiatives to enhance/streamline current
procedures/processes;? Working with CommonSpirit Health regarding
local needs, including space/memoryallocations, network issues,
backups, etc.;? Collaborating with internal departments to gain
access to their data in order to createbalanced reports/metrics;
and? Identifying, troubleshooting and resolving data management
issues (within scope ofposition).#LI-VMFH
Qualifications:
Education/Work Experience Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in
Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Analytics
orother related discipline and a minimum of five years of directly
related work experience(including data management and analysis)
that would demonstrate attainment of therequisite job
knowledge/abilities.Or any equivalent combination of education and
experience which provides the requiredknowledge, skills and
abilities to perform the essential functions of the
