Cascade Senior Living Services is looking for a dynamic leader
who is passionate about geropsych to run Western Washington's first
combined Behavioral Health/Dementia Assisted Living program. Come

illness as Cascade Park Garden's New Horizons Behavioral Health
Specialist. You will be responsible for all aspects of the daily
operations of the Advanced Service Program, a state-licensed
assisted living facility providing a Behavioral Health Supportive
Living program, in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and
local guidelines and regulations. You will be responsible for
directing, planning, supervising, training, supporting and
coordinating the services and activities of the program and its

One or more years of supervisory experience in health or social
A minimum of three years of professional experience providing
direct care, or managing persons providing such care, to vulnerable
adults in a setting licensed by a state agency for the care of
vulnerable adults, such as a nursing home, assisted living, adult
day center, adult family home; including at least two years in a
supervisory role is desired.
Knowledge and understanding of the regulations governing assisted
living centers in Washington State along with prior work experience
in such settings is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective supervisory skills
with the ability to direct the work of others.
Desire to work with functionally and/or cognitively impaired
adults, in an environment that upholds their privacy, dignity,
choice, independence, and individuality.
Ability to recognize and address problems promptly and
Ability to train in the moment.
Appropriate communication skills to foster and maintain positive
relations with program participants, families, physicians, state
officials, Company staff, and outside healthcare agencies.
Ability to work within the framework of a budget.
Passion for individuals suffering from Alzheimer's, dementia, and
advanced behavioral health conditions.
Expertise in the knowledge and practical implementation of behavior
management and de-escalation techniques.
Ability to maintain or supervise the maintenance of accurate
records and provide information as requested and/or required.
Knowledge of and ability to ensure the program(s) conforms to all
applicable laws, rules, and regulations and Company specific
policies and procedures.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet the
requirements of the job and to be on-call as needed.
Ability to work independently with little direct supervision, yet
to respond well to direction and guidance.
Ability to make appropriate decisions related to client care.
Ability to work as part of a team, while teaching, monitoring, and
motivating the performance of others.
Current HCA or NAC certification (or willingness to obtain) unless
already a licensed nurse.
Good character and a continuing reputation of personal integrity.
