Job Description:

Job Purpose: The purpose of this position is to manage the day-to-day operations of the Benefits Division by reviewing, auditing and approving non-exempt leaves of absence (LOAs), On the Job Injuries (OJI s), Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), benefit enrollments, 401(k) withdrawals, and benefits billings while remaining in compliance with applicable state, and federal law. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED required. AA degree in Business or related field required. Four or more years working with leaves of absence, workers compensation, and monthly benefit billing administration. Previous supervisory experience required. Experience in communicating and presenting benefit information to large groups. Extensive knowledge and application of FMLA, ACA, USERRA, ADA, COBRA, HIPPA and ERISA. Experience in using a HRIS system. Must have exceptional grammar, and analytical skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to write at a professional and technical level. Additional education or related experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of the position. Full COVID-19 vaccination requiredMust be able to obtain a Class IIIA license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
