Responsibilities
Job SummaryThis job is primarily responsible for providing clinical and technological assistance to an Electrophysiologist (MD) in performing complex invasive electrophysiology studies/procedures. - An incumbent assists the physician with all procedures in the EP lab, including implanted devices and arrhythmia ablations; assists the physician during diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures and device implants.
Qualifications
Education/Work Experience RequirementsAssociate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field or successful completion of a Radiological Technologist program, and one year of related cardiovascular technology work experience that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities. - - -Licensure/Certification
  • Current licensure as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) through the Washington State Department of Health AND current Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification (RCIS) as issued by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); - OR
  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist through the Washington State Department of Health AND current Radiography certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • If classified as Electrophysiology Specialist-Cert: -Requires Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification. -
