Job Description:
Job SummaryCoordinates the development, administrative
management, reporting, and closeout of Summit Pacific's Grants.
Researches, identifies, and recommends funding opportunities;
oversees all grants and related activities; provides leadership to
other staff or external partners who are involved with the grants.
Serves as a functional and technical expert; guides and educates
managers and employees regarding grant activities, policies and
procedures. Maintains a positive work environment that promotes
Summit Pacific values.Job Specific Duties and
Responsibilities*Creates, implements, and coordinates a
comprehensive grants program, which includes government, corporate
and private grant funding. Develops measurable goals and objectives
for the grants program.*Develops and applies a deep understanding
of Summit Pacific's mission, vision, programs, and strategic
priorities, to effectively tell the district's story to funders,
donors, and others in the community. Creates and maintains
organizational language and standards for use in
proposals.*Researches, identifies, and recommends funding
opportunities that align with Summit Pacific's strategic priorities
and support the mission and vision.*Manages and oversees
grants-related compliance and reporting processes. Implements
consistent strategies, practices, and policies to manage grants
through the life cycle. Collaborates with the Finance team to
develop grant budgets and reports, in accordance with OMB Uniform
Guidance. Engages with external partners as needed to ensure
compliance. Manages sub-award or contract compliance.*Builds and
strengthens relationships with the corporate and foundation sector
to establish partnerships that will result in funding to meet the
objectives of the organization. Serves as a liaison to facilitate
effective partnerships. *Maintains professional skills and
awareness of regulatory changes, compliance issues, innovations and
developments, through research and training/continuing education
opportunities. Facilitates continuous process improvement. Ensures
compliance with all regulatory requirements and federal, state and
local laws. Stays abreast of trends and best practices. Maintains
programs and records in good order, as required for efficient and
effective operations.Performs special projects and other related

manner.Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in
business, finance, or related field, or an equivalent combination
of education and experience.Three years of experience in grant
writing and administration. Experience includes identifying grants,
reviewing solicitations, developing proposals, and filing grant
applications, monitoring grants through defined reporting
schedules, knowledge of budgeting and contracting policies and
processes, familiarity with electronic grant submittal processes,
etc.Required Licenses, Certifications and/or

accurate documentation and records.Proficient in the use of current
technology and software, including intermediate to advanced
Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to quickly
learn and develop mastery with new technology and software.Ability

down, sort and synthesize information, identify key messages and
themes, formulate accurate conclusions about the meaning of the
information and develop appropriate decisions, action steps and/or
recommendations. Strong organizational skills: ability to organize
