Job Description:
Providence ElderPlace-PACE(Program for All Inclusive Care for
the Elderly) is an innovative program of services for older adults.
Providence ElderPlace helps older adults remain as healthy and
independent as possible in the community for as long as possible.
Elder Pal: Elder Pals connect with our elders in the community.
They bring connection to isolated seniors. They make a difference.
We have many participants living all over King County who would
love to have regular volunteer visitors. Volunteers may sit and
talk, go on walks, play games, sing, draw, watch TV or movies
together, assist with organizing, writing, or whatever it is two
friends decide to do together. Qualifications Ability to engage
with many types of people Desire to connect with seniors Good
listening skills Dependable 18 + years of age A general new
volunteer orientation of two hours is required. An in home
volunteer orientation for this opportunity is provided.
