Trimlite Manufacturing is looking for a pre finish paint room helper to assist in the door construction process. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, and enjoys working with their hands in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in the door and window construction trade, with use of powered hand tools strongly desired. This is a full-time position in our Tacoma Warehouse.Trimlite is a leading manufacturer and distributor of interior and exterior doors and door glass. With several locations throughout North America, Trimlite has served the US and Canada for over 30 years. We offer a competitive wage based on applicants' qualifications and previous work experience, and a full benefits package after completing 2 months of employment.Work hours are Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, with no graveyard or evening shifts.Training and Experience:Previous construction material handling, window glazing, jamb construction and installation, and service experience desiredJob Description:Various tasks associated with door manufacturing, glass insertion, painting, and general creation of doors and related systems.Must be comfortable using woodworking machinery, including table saws, moulders, and drilling machines.Experience in interior door assembly is an asset, but not mandatory.Qualifications:Positive attitudeExperience working in a Warehouse environment. Basic measuring skills (reading a measuring tape) are requiredAble to stand long hours on hard surfaces, up to 10 hours per day Compliance with safety regulationsGood attendance requiredPossess communication skills to be able to understand basic instructionsOther duties as assigned by Department Manager or LeadAbility to work independently or in a team environmentGood listening and communication skillsAble to lift 30-50 lbs.Should be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environmentCertified to operate electric standup forklift would be an asset, but not mandatory PI130562961
