Bellevue Church Childrens Pastor Job Description Bellevue Church is seeking a dynamic person who loves children and is equipped, experienced, and committed to communicating the gospel, discipling and mentoring children and families in a globalized church context. Qualifications: Have experience working with children with solid references. Sincere love for children and a desire to have fun communicating the gospel in unique ways that resonate with the younger generation of children attending church. Ability to organize and lead volunteer teams to help in doing the work of the ministry. Effective communicator. People person who values engaging the entire family in the process of training up children. Values feedback towards personal development and the improvement of professional leadership and ministry practices. Responsibilities: Plan and oversee all programming and ministry for children, aged birth 5th grade. Includes: Friday nights outreach group, Sunday mornings, VBS and other periodic special & seasonal events. Prepare and implement curriculum for each program /age level. Create fun, engaging environments, activities, and programs for each age group that ignites a passion in children to develop a relationship with God. Recruit, empower, organize, and lead volunteer teams. Provide Pastoral care for children and families, including hospital and home visits utilizing volunteer led teams. Maintain an effective strategy for reaching and assimilating new children and families.
