Busy, group ophthalmology practice is looking for an associate ophthalmologist to join them on a partnership track. The practice has a large draw area of patients and has been well established in the community for years. While the position will be mostly comprehensive in nature to start with, there are opportunities for sub-specialty cases given the patient volume and referral sources in the community. A new surgeon can expect to be handed down patients and cases from surgeons in the practice. The patient population will elect for refractive cataract surgery and it is important the new associate be comfortable with that patient population. In the clinic, tech support and a scribe will be provided at all times. Surgery will be done at a nearby surgery center. Partnership is expected to be offered after 2 years with a simple and transparent buy in formula.
