A Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator job in Fife, WA is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. In this role, you will provide support to the Continuous Improvement and Quality departments in the implementation of programs and tools to achieve their goals in product quality, inspection systems and documenting operating procedures. Milgard was recently acquired by MI Windows, which creates additional opportunities for growth and synergies between these two industry leaders.Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator job responsibilities include:---Support all facility quality programs and implementation of CI methods and tools.---Support CI and quality Initiatives/events and conduct presentations or provide training as needed. ---Support the CI and quality department with data entry, documentation, tracking and reporting of CI and quality initiatives and projects at the location.---Assist the management team to identify and develop annual improvement plans consistent with and in support of the strategic plan and business operating plan. ---Assist with planning, preparation and execution of CI events. Document follow up and audit event progress to ensure results are achieved and sustained. --- Coordinate purchase requests and maintain tools and materials related to CI department areas of responsibilities---Make required updates to company documents and maintain document control for official production related documentation.---Assist in developing training materials and effectively deliver those materials in a team environment to ensure employees throughout the facility are trained in CI concepts and philosophy.---Participate in the location CI Steering Committee. Requirements Qualifications:---Read, write and understand the English language---Strong background in problem-solving, planning, and organization.---Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to present to senior management---Attention to detail with strong organizational skills---Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently---High School Diploma required; some College preferred---Prior cross-functional team facilitation experience preferred.---Must have proven training or presentation experience for small group employee development and team-building events.---Computer literacy required with the ability to learn new computer software programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)---Must have the ability to move and lift materials and products weighing up to 60 lbs. as neededMilgard is growing with a track record of strong financial performance, which creates opportunities for team members.
