This position assists with the production, packaging, and quality of various roofing products.Here are the details :Performs inventory control functions and required paperwork.Learn and understand Starter Strip product specifications.Maintain open and consistent communications with the shift supervisor as well as the line inspector.Cleans work area and equipment.Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.The work environment can include the following :Working near moving mechanical parts.Extreme heat or cold (both weather & non-weather).Fumes or airborne particlesVibrationsExposure to loud noiseUneven groundThis position is physically demanding and requires the following:Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feelReach with hands and armsTalk and listenStand, walk and sitBend at the waistLift and/or move up to 80 pounds.Regular attendance is requiredAdditional requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to perform basic math and use a measuring tape.PABCO Roofing Products, a division of PABCO Building Products, LLC, began manufacturing premium asphalt shingle in Tacoma, Washington in 1984.
