• 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying data processing applications and frameworks.
• Proficiency in Go/Java, with an understanding of recent language features and frameworks. Expertise in building jobs with Apache Spark using Scala is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL databases. Experience with distributed and cloud storage systems such as HDFS, S3, etc.
• Ability to communicate with users, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and work effectively with teams adopting our tools.
• Ability to write and deploy well-tested production code. A commitment to modern software engineering practices.
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of data storage technologies, including serialization, schemas, file and table formats for large-scale data processing. Familiarity with formats such as Apache Iceberg and Parquet is a plus.At Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Employees also have opportunities to participate in Apple's stock programs, including restricted stock units and employee stock purchase plans.
