Janitor- Swing Shift Where: Lakewood, WA (Joint Base Lewis McChord)Type: Full Time, Non-ExemptWage: $18.50/hrBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life & Short-Term Disability Insurance, 10 paid holidays, up to 12 paid vacation days per year, paid sick leave, Verizon wireless discount, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and a robust wellness program.Work Schedule: Full-time, Swing Shift Skookum Contract Services is seeking a dedicated and reliable Full Time Janitor with a positive attitude. This individual will be responsible for general cleaning and janitorial tasks. Typical duties include but are not limited to:

• Restroom Cleaning - sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies. Collect trash and replace liners. Sweep and mop floor. Follow cross contamination procedures.
• Office Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
• Halls and High Traffic area Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
• Entrances and Exits Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean entry doors according to schedule.
• Trash - Empty trash in office areas, lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker according to schedule.
• Supply Restocking - restock supplies according to schedule.
• Dusting - dusting in restrooms, shower/locker areas, according to schedule.
• Stairwell Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum, and wipe handrails according to schedule.
• Shower Cleaning - clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures
• Janitorial Supply Closet/Locker - keep clean and organized. Qualifications:
  • Must be able to communicate with others in a courteous and helpful way.
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain stamina to perform assigned duties. Requirements:
    • Valid State Driver's license required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum's insurance company.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances as background checks will be conducted for this position.Required
