Reporting to the Senior Director of Service Experience the Senior Application Developer - ServiceNow Platform is a member of the Service Experience IT Technology team and will be responsible for the Service Now platform development and operations, enterprise service experience and digital service delivery at TrueBlue.

The Senior Application Developer - ServiceNow Platform, Service Experience is a new position that is central to TrueBlue's creation of a new and digitally differentiated service experience which is a key role that will deliver world class service and support to our employees across the globe. This Senior ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for the design, execution, and growth of the Service Now platform. Developing a digital service charter where automation, self-serviceability, chat, and data driven insights provide the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role is a result driven position, driving innovation and quality in a diverse service experience organization, accountable for client service fulfilment, well defined service level agreements, and an automation strategy that has an outcome of reducing operational toil for our employees. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will join the customer support delivery team looking to modernize the internal service experience. The new experience will be built on core tenets of ease, speed, and enablement of service that will knock-the-socks-off our clients. The developer will be responsible for identifying, developing, building, and world class solutions to improve the client experience and help drive innovations every touch of the client interaction.

        • Digitally transform people-centric workflow service items into a next generation federated self-service experience.
        • Create intelligent feedback loops that incorporate feedback into solving service challenges.
        • Develop solutions that are self-learning and use data to avert disruptions and can auto-heal, if disruptions occur.
        • Experience in the ServiceNow platform.
        • Experience in agile delivery methodologies in a cloud/SaaS organization.
        • Delivery of projects within budget while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores.
        • Participate in product technology strategies/roadmaps through partnerships spanning multiple functions.
        • Monitor performance, customer feedback, and customer satisfaction relative to our employee interaction with our customer base.
        • Monitor and report on utilization and client behavior within our service delivery ecosystem, use the analysis to drive business value.
        • Leveraging innovative data analytics to identify and attack common client and associate problems, your current focus is the delivery of our digital service strategy and integration of next gen tech for predictive AI, Machine learning and Natural Language Processing, chat bot expansion, guided self-service, and asynchronous messaging.
        • Foster a technology culture that is responsive to the needs of the business while transparently reporting on its alignment with the business. Your Background:
          • 3+ years of hands-on service or technology delivery experience.
          • 3+ years of development experience with frictionless digital transformations.
          • 5+ years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
          • ServiceNow implementation experience in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB & Asset) is required.
          • Experience designing and developing APIs with REST, SOAP, and JSON is required.
          • Experience with W3C web design standards and technologies, including CSS, HTML 5, JavaScript is required.
          • Technical proficiency with developing database queries, XML, batch jobs, and stored procedures with PL/SQL and NoSQL is required.
          • Experience with React, AngularJS is a plus.
          • ServiceNow technical certification is a plus.
          • Quick problem solving and decision making.
          • Detail oriented, self-motivated with efficient time management.
          • Ability to communicate directly to technical teams.
          • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and to be able to demonstrate strong subject-matter expertise and attention to detail while keeping the trajectory of the business in mind.
          • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business or Computer Science.
            The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $125,000 - $160,000 per year. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer a competitive benefits package.
