Job Description:

Trimlite is a manufacturer of doors and glass with facilities in Ontario, British Columbia, Washington, Ohio and Florida. We are currently looking for a Service Technician to service our customers throughout Western, WA and on occasion Eastern, WA. This position reports to our Tacoma, WA facility daily to pick up a company assigned vehicle and service parts, and is responsible for inspecting door units, changing out glass, replacing door panels and sometimes replacing whole pre-hung units at customer's homes.

We are looking for teammates who will go the extra mile to get things done and someone who is detail oriented and enjoys working with their hands and with customers. Successful applicants will have experience in construction, framing, or the door and window industry.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of hand tools and power tools

Ability to comply with all safety regulations

Good attendance

Excellent customer service

Good communication- both written and verbal

Framing, construction or industry experience a plus

Door and Window manufacturing experience desired

Requirements:

Must maintain a professional appearance at all times

Manage schedule and be on-time to all appointments

Keep vans stocked an organized

Keep equipment in good working condition

Maintain vehicle (wash, regular oil changes)

Complete all work reports before leaving jobsites

Valid Driver's License, clean driving record and ability to pass criminal background check

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up 75-100lbs of force to move objects

Work in all weather conditions, indoors and outdoors

Other

Willingness to work in our shop to train and learn about our products
