The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for sales support as well as customer service for our largest and most demanding customers. The Customer Service Specialist will support a specific area of the company in their sales and service efforts by working in tandem with the account manager. They will be responsible for the facilitation of sales growth and service quality within the category of customers designated National Accounts. This position is directly involved in monitoring customer satisfaction and will facilitate proactive direction based on sales trends and market conditions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Executes a strategic plan for the business development and expansion of PeopeReady's National Accounts.
  • Provides support and recommendations for National Account pricing and bid procedures for current and potential customers.
  • Ensures the highest level of service quality for National Accounts by providing exceptional customer service, attention to detail, problem solving skills, follow up, and to accentuate our value-added proposition to customers.
  • Ensures both our customers and our account managers are properly supported; provides metrics and reports (sales trends/market conditions) needed in order to reinforce the customers buying decision and for increased sales and loyalty.
  • Executes/participates in a strategic plan for expansion of our National Accounts.

        • Key Performance Indicator research and preparation

            EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma required; 2-year college degree preferred. Customer service, credit and collections experience necessary, sales or related industry experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
            COMPUTER and SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTSProficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point. Ability to learn and work with new programs.
            OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

            • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, including the ability to persuade an audience.

            • Bilingual language skills a plus.
            • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
            • 1-3 years experience in customer service and account management.
            • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and ability to learn new programs, with minimum intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel.
              LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures, legal documents, or governmental regulations. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
              MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, currency conversion, and taxes.
              REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
              CERTIFICATES, LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS, or TRAININGNone required.
              WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDSEmployee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally more than 50 pounds.
