registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A full-time registered nurse (RN) position is
available in the Tacoma, WA area, serving an elementary school
setting. This contract role offers an opportunity to make a
meaningful impact on student health and well-being by providing
direct nursing care and supporting health technicians within the
school district. Responsibilities include: - Managing health plans
and care for students at the primary school location -
Collaborating with health technicians to ensure student health
needs are met - Traveling between nearby schools (within a 2-3 mile
radius) to provide nursing support as needed - Maintaining
compliance with health policies and regulations specific to the
school environment Qualifications: - Current Washington State RN
license is required - Experience in school nursing or pediatric
nursing preferred - Ability to work independently and as part of a
multidisciplinary team - Strong organizational and communication
skills to effectively support student health services This position
follows a standard full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week and is
anticipated to run through June 16, 2026. The selected candidate
will fill a vacancy left by a departing RN, with interviews and
offers conducted promptly. Working in this role provides the chance
to contribute to the well-being of children in a supportive
educational community while gaining valuable school nursing
experience. The schools served are located within a close radius,
allowing for manageable travel between sites. If you hold a
