Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Tacoma, WA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,914 to $2,108 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Job Title Registered Nurse - Operating Rooms City/State: Tacoma, Washington Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00:00-07:00:00 (6 days on, 8 days off, Thursday-Tuesday) Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 05/04/2026 Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Operating Rooms is responsible for providing professional nursing care to a diverse patient population, including General, Neuro, Ortho, Peds, ENT, trauma, and Urology cases, among others. The role requires strong OR experience, with an emphasis on night shifts that include procedures such as Neuro, heavy trauma, and emergency general surgery. Responsibilities: Perform scrub and circulate duties during surgical procedures. Administer blood and assist with the placement of arterial lines and wound vacs. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency. Participate in the trauma call team as needed. Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of strong OR experience. BLS certification. Proficient in robotic surgeries, particularly with DaVinci systems. Comfortable with procedures such as craniotomies, ORIF, gunshot wound management, and emergency general surgeries.
