Job Description Location: Puget Sound Region, Coastal Washington State (serving Puyallup and Tacoma, WA) Healthcare Organization: A national leader in pathology services, providing comprehensive anatomic and clinical pathology support across multiple hospitals and outreach clinics in the Puget Sound region Opportunity: Full-time Surgical Pathologist to join a collaborative group of 4–8 pathologists and three Pathologist Assistants, supporting a diverse hospital and outpatient case mix across two major regional medical centers Details: - Sign out a broad range of surgical pathology cases - Interpret intraoperative frozen sections and cytology rapid on-site evaluations (ROSE) - Present at general and specialty tumor boards - Serve as CLIA Director for hospital laboratories - Participate in shared call coverage among all pathologists - AP/CP board certification required - Subspecialty training in GI/Liver, Hematopathology, or Cytopathology highly desired - 3–5 years of experience preferred, though recently trained fellows will be considered - Washington State medical license required or eligibility Compensation: - Competitive salary commensurate with experience - Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and matched 401(k) - Attractive sign-on bonus
