Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Silverdale, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,781 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Silverdale, Washington, 98383! Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: Required Certifications: BLS ACLS NRP Must-Have: Must have Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum experience. Must be comfortable attending deliveries independently. Must be comfortable circulating in C-sections. Must be able to assist with catching babies and transitioning them. Experience with high-risk patients including preeclampsia and diabetic conditions is required. Description: The unit averages 150-180 births a month. It follows AWHONN guidelines for ratios of 1:2 for Labor and Delivery and 1:3-4 for couplets. RNs are required to titrate drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin. There is one surgical tech present on the unit 24/7. Patient care assistants with clerical duties are available on each shift. An OB anesthesia provider is on site 24/7. The telemetry monitors used in the unit are compatible with EFM Centricity. Block scheduling is available upon request for shifts. There is a weekend commitment every other week, with alternating shifts. Floating is limited to Mother-Baby and Postpartum, with no floating to NICU. Travelers are expected to function in Postpartum with routine mom and baby competencies. Scrubs are provided, and lockers are available for staff use. The manager is supportive and provides feedback to travelers to ensure quality work. Travelers should be adaptable to workflows, policies, and procedures. The facility has a cancellation policy allowing for a specific number of shifts to be canceled during assignments.
