working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Seattle,
Washington, 98122! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 3 years
in Level III or IV NICU License: Current WA license or Compact
license Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Minimum experience
required: 3 years NICU experience. Traveler must be open to
floating to different campuses. No ECMO experience required, but
familiarity with all other NICU procedures. Description: All
previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be
separated for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel
position. Travelers usually do not admit babies, as a dedicated
nurse fills that role. Very rarely, travelers may float to
Pediatrics due to the high demand for RNs in NICU. If they do float
to Pediatrics, they would care for infants only. Unit details: 77
beds with an average census of 50. Block scheduling is approved if
preferred, working 3 or more consecutive shifts is possible.
Patient ratios: 2 patients per nurse during days, nights, and
weekends. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services,
pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Responsibilities include
managing ventilator settings, blood products administration, and
attending high-risk deliveries. Must have experience with
cooling/warming blankets, feeding tubes, and central line care.
Availability for interview is required. Candidates should express
interest in a temp-to-perm opportunity if desired. References will
