Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Case Management - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/03/2025 - Duration: 14 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an acute inpatient Case Management position requiring a WA or compact RN license and Epic EMR experience. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital-based Case Management unit at a Level II Trauma Center with Level IV NICU - Adult inpatient population including ICU, PCU, MedSurg, and ER patients - Patient ratio typically 1:15-20 - No care of pediatric, L&D, or NICU patients - Five 8-hour day shifts per week with every other weekend rotation - No on-call required - May float between two nearby hospital campuses (within 2.5 miles), with advance notice - Uses Epic EMR, Epic experience required - Responsible for acute care case management including discharge planning and community resource coordination - Expected to participate in clinical interviewing and conduct patient interventions immediately after brief orientation - Orientation lasts approximately 1-3 days and includes pairing with another case manager RN - Support includes leadership, peers, and case management assistants - Dress code is business casual; no scrubs required - Free parking is available on site - Required to cover at least one holiday during the contract - All requested time off must be submitted up front and is subject to manager approval - Breaks are mandatory and enforced Requirements - Active WA RN or Compact License required - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required - Minimum 2 years of recent acute inpatient case management experience required - Minimum 4 years of overall nursing experience required - Epic EMR experience required - Healthcare financial and reimbursement knowledge required - Post-discharge planning and community resource knowledge required - ER and utilization review experience preferred - Not open to first-time travelers Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-613414.
