Registered Dietitian is responsible for overseeing the Dietary
component in tandem with the Center For Discovery Clinical
Model.Responsibilities:Meet with each patient on a weekly basis to
implement and manage individualized dietary meal plans including
conducting weekly calorie countsConduct Dietary Intake on
admitComplete documentation on each clients progress throughout the
treatment experience, making sure that daily progress notes reflect
the goals within the treatment planFacilitate Nutrition Groups that
are appropriate to the adult and adolescent age groups.Support
patients during meals and snacks, as assigned on the schedule to
promote exposures, using skills and modeling while at a
meal/snackImplement one dietary treatment plan for each client
within a week of admissionCommunicate with referring and/or
outpatient treatment team throughout patients' treatment
episodeOversight of Diet-technicians to encourage supportive
mealtimes and monitoring supplementationCollaborate with the
Director of Dietary Services and the treatment team to ensure the
best standard of nutrition and dietary services are
occurringEnforce dietary program and advise clients appropriately
on food choicesDemonstrate understanding of the medical
consequences of eating disorders, the hazards of re-feeding and how
to avoid complicationsAbility to implement specific dietary
exchange patterns through knowledge of portion size and caloric
recommendationsFacilitate family sessions, family day, and
education; including therapeutic meals; as appropriateCommunication
with medical doctor, as needed, regarding any medical problems that
may require dietary intervention. Communication with psychiatrist
where applicable.Registered dietitian remains appropriately
accessible to family members, including weekly communication
(phone, email or in person) with parents of
adolescents.Compensation Range:Compensation will be dependent upon
education and experienceThis full-time position is in-person at our
Tacoma Outpatient Program. It has a schedule of Monday-Friday with
flexibility to work between the hours of 7:30a-3:30p.For a virtual

accredited university or college and course work accredited or
approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition
and Dietetics (ACEND) and an RD credential, requiredLicensed
registered dietitian, strongly preferred (For Dietetic Interns,
must be RD eligible and taking exam soon)Two years experience in
dietary education and management, preferredEating disorder
experience, preferredAble to provide documentation or obtain a
state required food handler's permit, or Serve Safe
