To assist in the creation of patient panels and integrated patient care.Position Complexities:Personnel development and management, hiring and orientation of new relevant staffSystems and policy review and creation, with implementation plansClose collaboration with clinical director, medical director, and clinic operationsLeadership development trainingPosition's Impact to SIHB:Nursing manager and resultant well-defined, efficient nursing pool is critical to optimal clinical operations and quality patient careQuality clinical nurse is integral to quality integrated care and optimized patient outcomes.Duties & Responsibilities:Nurse ManagerHiring, orientation of new RN/LPNEstablish and maintain nursing policies, procedures, and roles in clinical care teamsEstablish and maintain monthly nursing schedulesTake lead on training needs for current staff to optimize full-spectrum careAttendance at multidisciplinary meetings as necessaryMaintenance of compliance for clinic accreditationEngagement with QI initiatives and PDSA cyclesClinical NurseAs defined by job description for SIHB Clinical nurseLead Responsibilities:Position is a leadership role, as described above.Supervisory Responsibilities:Performance evaluations and annual reviews, remediation if necessaryTime sheet managementAssessment of gaps and coordination/recommendation of training opportunitiesActively participate in internal quality improvement teams and work with members proactively to drive quality improvement initiatives in accordance with the mission and strategic goals of the organization, federal and state laws and regulations, and accreditation standards, when assigned.Other job-related duties as assignedRequired: Minimum of bachelors in nursing, prior experience in managerial role in a clinical setting, personnel management experience.Work Environment: Office setting with regular schedule and hours. Occasional extended hours may be required. Occasional off-site work at treatment facilities or community kitchen.
