Emergency Department-Emergency Services
Facility: Beds 127 Trauma: IV
Unit Beds 22
2 yrs of RN experience required, 2 yrs in specialty required
Previous travel required
WA State License in hand
BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC required

Ratios: 1:3-4 depending on shift and volumes
Orientation: 2-3 days
Dress Code: Professional scrubs Any color
EMR: EPIC

Floating: Traveler s first to float. Rare but may be asked to float within scope
Weekend and Holidays as needed. On call as needed
Required Experience: Experience in LD a must. Newborn care required. Will be required to care for laboring patient, antepartum patient and mother baby complete care

Age Range: Birth-Elderly
Unit Specific Procedures/Protocols: Drips, infusions, IVs performed by RN. EKGs completed by RT (within the 10 minute protocol), Phlebotomy completed by RN, ED Tech, or Lab. All RT treatments are completed by RT. DI department and staff are located directly across the hall from the ED for immediate use.

MUST NOT CURRENTLY BE WORKING IN ANY WAY FOR PROVIDENCE OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES. IF THE PROFESSIONAL IS A FORMER EMPLOYEE OF PROVIDENCE OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES (SWEDISH MEDICAL CENTER or PAC MED). MUST HAVE TERMINATED EMPLOYMENT AT LEAST 6 MONTHS PRIOR AND BE IN GOOD STANDING. DOCUMENTS MUST BE COMPLETE 1 WEEK PRIOR TO START, NO EXCEPTIONS.
