Job Description:

The PACU RN will be responsible for the care of patients that have just undergone anesthesia during a procedures. Post Anesthetic Care Unit Registered nurses care for a wide variety of patients, from adults to children and play an crucial role in the patient's recovery.Responsibilities:As a PACU Nurse your duties include:

Review the health of the patient and give medications as necessary.
Assisting patients with personal needs right after their procedure as they are brought back to consciousness.
Monitor the vitals of the patient and make certain that no complications are found.
Care for the patients post operation wounds and change dressings as necessary.

Requirements

One year of experience as a PACU Nurse within the past two years.
- Active RN License in good standing.
- Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
