Job Description:

Small, dynamic & fast growing management company in Mill Creek is looking to hire a full-time community association manager. We are looking for someone ready to grow with the company and interested in helping to grow the company. Summary: The Community Association Manager is responsible for the management and support of community associations (homeowners & condominium associations), including, but not limited to: daily operations, regular interaction with and support of Board of Directors members/homeowners/vendors, meeting attendance, budget preparation, and overall community business management. Managing a portfolio of community associations requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure, and impeccable verbal and written communication skills. Our managers serve these associations in a professional manner, providing exceptional customer service. Primary Duties: As the Community Manager you will be responsible for a wide variety of duties including (but not limited to) the following: - Provide information and guidance to the Board as it sets policies and makes decisions - Supervise the operation and administration of the Association in accordance with management agreement and the Association's policies and procedures. - Educate and advise the Board of its role and responsibilities - Direct the enforcement of the Association's policies, regulations and bylaws - Act as a liaison between the Board of Director's and homeowners - Prepare the annual draft budget including operation expenses, capital improvements, and reserves - Maintain community information - Manage approved annual budget - Assist Board in vendor selection and relations by collecting and reviewing bids, making recommendations to the Board, and ensuring that vendor duties are carried out as per bid specifications - Coordinate vendors and regular maintenance of the association - Attend and participate in Board meetings and conduct annual meetings - Review and respond to communications from Board and Association members - Manage special projects and perform other duties as requested by the Board or assigned by management company - Respond to communications from the Board and homeowners in a timely and professional manner - Perform walkthrough of associations. - Other administrative tasks. Experience/ Skills Required: In a candidate, we are looking for the following skills: - Energetic and dedicated with strong organizational and communication skills. - Ability to prioritize and organize his/her workday with interruptions and changing priorities and ability to work well under pressure with time-sensitive tasks, balancing due dates and deadlines. - A positive attitude and ability to empathize with sometimes difficult people. - Capable of interacting in a professional manner with clients, customers, board members and vendors and must be able to work with a diverse group of homeowners. - Ability to compose business letters and professionals emails. - Details oriented - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills - A team player - Excellent listening skills - Strong understanding of financial information - Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills required - Excellent organization and prioritization skills required - Flexible schedule and the ability to work independently Job Qualifications: Minimum of High School Diploma, Bachelor preferred Must have previous experience in hoa & condo management - at least 1 year Must have knowledge of work, excel & outlook. Must be able to create spreadsheets, formulas, in Excel. Excellent general computer skills Professional attire and demeanor at all times Flexible schedule (monthly or quarterly evening meetings required) Reliable transportation with valid driver license and insurance Ability to learn new software quickly. Knowledge of Appfolio software a plus Strong Work Ethic Candidate will be required to obtain the CMCA designation within 120 days. Salary: Compensation will be based on candidate's profile and skills, including, but not limited to, competitive salary, paid time off, paid holidays, bonuses or other compensations.
