Sound Physicians combines a high-performance model with engaged providers to drive reproducible results across the acute episode of care - through emergency medicine, hospital medicine, critical care, transitional care, advisory services, and telemedicine.. The Regional Director of Finance is a key member of the Finance, Telemedicine and Managed Care Services teams. They will work closely with the General Managers, other team members and the VP of Financial Operations to analyze the financial impact of Sound's Telemedicine and Managed Care Services lines. The individual must be able to create reporting, pricing models and operational tools for these emerging service lines while acting as a thought partner for each Operational team while these business models and pricing are developed and tested. The individual will own and manage preparing annual budgets, maintaining five year forecasts, analyzing operational and financial results and performing various complex analyses. This is a high visibility position within two early stage business lines within Sound that are expected to be significant growth drivers for the organization. The successful candidate will be drawn to problem solving, is naturally curious with strong analytical abilities, takes initiative, able to understand operational data as well as analyze and clearly communicate financial outcomes, and is comfortable working in a continuously changing and ambiguous environment. The position reports to the VP of Financial Operations and will work closely with the General Managers of Telemedicine and Managed Care Services on a day-to-day basis.. Define and perform complex financial analysis and build financial models. Prepare pricing models and analysis for initial pricing and renewals. Assess, analyze and report on managed care / value based care savings and revenue. Assist with evaluating new business opportunities and develop pricing models with each General Manager. Create and maintain standardize reporting to support operational and financial analytics; includes aggregation of data from disparate data sources. Bridge operational data with financial drivers to understand historical results and forecast future performance. Partner with each Operating team to cultivate an understanding of key financial drivers. Work closely with Accounting and Operations to ensure financials reflect consistency with operational activities and contract terms. Complete annual Budget and quarterly Reforecasting with an understanding of key financial and operational drivers. Create/maintain each service line's five year financial model.. Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial operating review and board materials as needed. Develop and maintain executive summaries for leadership that includes operational KPIs, performance vs. budget, trend analysis, etc.. Perform monthly research and prepare written analysis of variances of actual performance to budgeted and forecasted performance. Basic Qualifications. Highly analytical and detail oriented. Self-starter, comfortable in a start-up like environment with a strong desire to learn, continuously improve, and take initiative. Ability to thrive and grow quickly in a continuously changing and ambiguous environment. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with other key departments. Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and flexible approach. Proven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions. Proven ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs and continuously meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills along with the ability to prioritize and manage competing priorities.. Preferred Qualifications. Evidence of stretch assignments that reflect superior performance in previous roles. Adaptive Planning experience preferred. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:. Education. Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or similar field. Experience. Must have at least 5 years of related experience preferably in healthcare services..
