Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sourcing and
Contract Manager to join our team. This unique role combines the
responsibilities of a Sourcing Manager and a Contract Manager, with
a special emphasis on Energy as a Service (EaaS) contracting. The
ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and a
proven track record in managing complex sourcing and contracting
processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sourcing Management:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for energy solutions
tailored to healthcare facilities.
- Work as part of the team who will identify and evaluate potential
suppliers and service providers for EaaS.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure the best
value and service quality.
- With appropriate personnel conducts pre-bid/pre-proposal
conferences; responds to requests for information from vendors;
reviews, tabulates, and analyzes bid responses; reviews bid results
and performs cost/price analysis.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure
compliance with contractual obligations.
- Develops and maintains sourcing and procurement processes as
needed.
- Performs additional duties as assigned
- Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to EaaS, ensuring
alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
- Reviews contract and format of bid documents; ensures bid
documents comply with established guidelines, rules, and
regulations; and develops documents for authorization to award.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any
issues or disputes that arise.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and
documentation.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, energy and sustainability, and
operational teams to ensure seamless contract execution and
management.
- Maintain awareness and compliance to all federal, state, and
local statutes and regulations as appropriate.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Healthcare Focus:
- Leverage previous healthcare experience to understand the unique
energy needs and regulatory requirements of healthcare
facilities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best
practices in healthcare energy management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain
Management, Energy Management, or a related field. Advanced degree
preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing and contract
management, with a focus on energy solutions.
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry is essential.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong skill set in data collection, data analysis, and data
interpretation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a
fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of EaaS models and energy management practices.
- Be self-starting and proactive.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office
Suite.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine
compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and
experience. The minimum salary for the Contract Manager position is
$84,500.00 annually and the maximum salary for the Contract Manager
position is $100,000.00 annually. The compensation offered to a
successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications,
and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a
discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental
