for participation!\n\nResponsibilities\nJob Summary:\nThe Division
Director of Physician Advisory Services will be responsible for
serving as the Lead Physician Advisor for utilization management
(UM), compliance and clinical documentation improvement (CDI)
efforts within the Pacific Northwest Division to include Virginia
Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH). In this role, an incumbent will
provide program development and supervisory oversight of physician
advisory services for the Division and have the opportunity to work
with hospital administration throughout the system to identify and
address performance improvement opportunities potentially including
length of stay, readmissions, improved clinical documentation, and
regulatory compliance. An incumbent collaborates as a physician
partner with the Division Utilization Management to optimize acute
care patient flow and denial management.
\n\nQualifications\nEducation/Work Experience Requirements:\n\n*
Requires MD degree, including completion of GME residency training
program and Board Certification in the related medical specialty\n*
Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of
Washington\n* Ten years of hospital and/or clinic-based clinical
work experience\n* Broad work experience (e.g. Hospitalist
Medicine, and/or hospital-based quality work) and/or experience as
a medical director managing multidisciplinary teams in caring for
high-risk, medically complex patients is preferred\n* Master's
degree in healthcare administration is preferred\n\nPay
Range\n$97.31 - $155.69 /hour
