Boeing is looking for a Project Management Specialist based out of Everett, Washington and Seattle, Washington .

Position Responsibilities:
Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards).
Oversight, and management responsibility (including performance management & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational the goals and objectives. Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements.
Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan.
Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans.
Provides assessment of team performance to appropriate management.
Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.
Provides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plans.
Provides input of team member performance to management, where appropriate

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location option.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. - 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with project management
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Project Plan
2+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Gantt charts, resource load charts).
2+ years of experience with developing and executing operating rhythms, integrated program schedules, project plans, and/or metrics.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Experience developing complex resource loaded integrated project plans across multiple organizations and commodities.
Oversight, and management responsibility (including performance mgmt & reporting) for a portfolio of medium to large projects in support of the business unit's goals and objectives.
Experience using a RIO tracking and reporting tool
Experience using Open Plan Professional (OPP)
Proven track record of successful delivery of complexity and risk in projects across a variety of areas
The individual must be enthusiastic and hands on in their approach and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong, independent leader, who is a self-starter and a proven team player in a high achievement-oriented environment
Builds Positive Relationships: Builds effective working with relationships with team and cross functional groups that are required to contribute to the success of the program.
Understand differing requirements and perspectives and lead the team through to successful conclusions.
Able to adapt approach to meet needs of different groups
Excellent judgment, decision making skills, and the ability to work under continue deadline pressure
Excellent written and oral communication

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
