Job Description:
This well-respected medical center is a top referral center for the
region and is rapidly expanding their transport department. This
newly available Nurse Manager Pediatric Neonatal Transport role
will be responsible for developing and merging this new program
with the existing transport system. The ideal candidate is an PICU,
NICU, or Pediatric RN with experience in ground transport who has
managed a Pediatric and/or Neonatal transport team.
The Nurse Manager Pediatric Neonatal Transport will collaborate
with the Transport Medical Director and Critical Care nursing
leadership to ensure safe and efficient ground transport. Reporting
to the Nurse Director of Pediatric Critical Care, the Nurse Manager
Pediatric Neonatal Transport oversee an experienced transport team.
The Nurse Manager Pediatric Neonatal Transport will be responsible
for staffing plans, scheduling, and staff development programs to
maximize patient safety and meet regulatory requirements for this
growing unit. Quality improvement programs will be the main focus
of the Nurse Manager Pediatric Neonatal Transport for the first 1-2
years as this service line expands and matures.
