Propulsion Product Development Manager Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Propulsion Product Development Manager (Level K) to lead a dynamic team of engineers based in Everett, WA. As a Propulsion Product Development Manager, you will lead a teams of engineers focused on propulsion-related activities including architecture, design, analysis, technology development, and trade studies. This role is critical in advancing both existing and new propulsion products and technologies, conducting competitive assessments, and collaborating across multiple functions to deliver innovative solutions. Position Responsibilities: Leads the Propulsion Product Development team including propulsion design groups ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Oversees and manages the propulsion technology development portfolio, driving innovation and advancement of propulsion systems. Supports the development of derivative and future new commercial aircraft programs through propulsion product development activities. Manages flight engineering and propulsion-related disciplines in collaboration with engine companies product development activities. Develops and executes comprehensive project and process plans, establishes policies and procedures, and sets operational objectives to meet program requirements. Secures necessary resources for projects and processes, provides technical oversight and management of suppliers, and champions continuous process improvements. Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports to ensure effective collaboration and alignment. Provides technical oversight and approval of engineering approaches, product designs, and development processes to ensure quality and compliance. Leads, develops, and motivates team members to foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, accountability, and professional growth. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry. 5 years of experience with propulsion systems or propulsion-related products or services. Experience leading a team, formally or informally. Experience working with commercial engine manufacturers/suppliers. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 10 years of experience with propulsion systems or propulsion-related products or service. Design or analysis experience with auxiliary power and main engines on large fixed wing aircraft. Experience with developing and maintaining relationships/partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports, along with managing, developing, and motivating employees. Experience managing cross-functional teams in a product development environment.
