CalPortland, a leading provider of construction materials including cement, concrete, and aggregates, is seeking a skilled Aggregate Plant Operator-Electrician to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on the operation and maintenance of equipment used in aggregate production and includes responsibilities such as ensuring continuous and efficient production and compliance with safety protocols. The successful candidate will be integral in helping CalPortland achieve its sustainability goals by maintaining optimal functionality of our plant operations through expert electrical skills. Operate and monitor electrically powered aggregate production equipment Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot electrical issues on plant equipment Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations Collaborate with engineering staff to improve plant operations and efficiency Record operational and maintenance actions taken during shift Assist in training junior personnel and guide their operations and maintenance tasks In-depth knowledge of electrical systems used in industrial environments Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with industrial electronic controls Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and manuals Proficient in using tools of the trade for electrical repairs and maintenance Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team Attention to detail and precision in tasks Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed Electrician Certificate OSHA Safety Training Certification
