your future with us. Boeing Commercial Airplanes Offboard
Communications Team is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Network &
Digital Connectivity System Design Engineer to join our dynamic
team in Everett, Washington. Position Overview: In this role, you
will be responsible for leading, maintaining Offboard Connectivity
Systems and Connectivity solutions to support cutting-edge
aerospace projects. All projects center on the translation of
concepts and high-level requirements to specific architectures and
operational specifications including physical integration of
electrical systems and components into our complex airplanes. Work
with worldwide supplier base and leverage customer collaboration to
implement high quality and service ready system hardware and
software. Validate designs through both laboratory qualification
testing and airplane system testing. Work with aircraft systems
from initial concept through development, hardware qualification,
system testing and aircraft certification. This position will be
assigned to work within ENDS Connectivity Group which includes but
is not limited to Onboard Systems, Offboard Communication,
End-to-End Architecture testing and more. Primary Responsibilities:
Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical
system requirements Define Hardware and Software requirements and
specifications Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet
operational and functional requirements Assists in monitoring
supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance
with requirements Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and
software over the entire product lifecycle Researches specific
technology advances for potential application to company business
needs Participate as a contributing member to any airplane
installation designs and certification efforts for Connectivity
Systems and Airplane Programs Work with external organizations
within Boeing’s Commercial Airplanes, Global Service, and Test &
Evaluation organizations to establish holistic end to end functions
that can be verified Engage with airline customers to understand
their intended use of Cabin and Network Systems solutions Develop
and execute detailed, integrated test procedures/plans Define and
configure Lab setup for Testing Participate in Flight Test
evaluation of Connectivity Systems Create software scripts to
support and/or automate testing procedures and analysis Evaluate
the performance, reliability, and stability of connectivity IP
links (wired or wireless) Travel Requirement: Must be willing and
able to travel 25% of the time domestically. Work Authorization:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate
will be required to work onsite at our Everett, WA location. Basic
Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): Bachelor of Science
degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or
Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics,
Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly
related to the work statement. 1 years of experience working in an
electrical design engineering environment. Preferred Qualifications
(Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in
Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering Experience within
Electrical Systems hardware and software design Experience with
Computer Networking Experience Troubleshooting/Debugging Experience
with Digital Communication Demonstrated project management skills
within a fast paced highly integrated environment Drug Free

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well
as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range : $79,050
