Our client, an AI-focused organization impacting the legal sector, is hiring a Backend Engineer to join the team remotely. The successful candidate will be integral in shaping the future of the legal industry, while expanding their skills and contributing to innovative, cutting-edge projects.Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with product and customer-facing teams to enhance product features and lead projects.
• Write clean, well-structured and well-documented code that ensures compatibility across major browsers.
• Become a subject matter expert in the company's backend architecture, optimizing platform performance on Azure and AWS while prioritizing security, privacy and accessibility.
• Explore new software capabilities and offer innovative solutions to address product challenges.
• Work effectively with engineering, product, sales and customer success teams in a collaborative, positive environment.
• As the team grows, take on leadership duties and mentor additional engineers.Skillset
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar.
  • At least 3 years of experience coding in Python.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing services on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with File/Blob storage systems and NoSQL databases.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects.
  • Strong proficiency in writing regular expressions.
  • Excellent product sense and the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and product management tools.Benefits
