Continuant is a global voice, telephony, and collaboration tools managed service provider (MSP) specializing in maintenance and migration, Microsoft Teams Calling and Meeting Rooms (via our Connect solutions), and Audio Video systems.We are seeking a Cisco Collaboration Sales Engineer to work with our Account Executive team to sell and position Cisco Unified Collaboration solutions to our Enterprise accounts. As an integral part of the team, you will provide pre-sales support to identify and present solutions that meet the business and technical requirements of our customers. This is strategic selling job and a technical design job which requires in-depth working knowledge of voice and converged communications technology.What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist Account Executives in driving customer activities and discussions of Cisco's Unified Collaboration (UC) solutions. You will need to uncover business benefits for a customer by moving to a UC system, consulting on solutions and applications to solve business problems, designing and present appropriate technical solutions using Cisco UC products
    • Prepare presentations outlining technical requirements and cost lists to match the needs of customers
      • Present solutions to customers in an enthusiastic and professional manner
        • Work with internal departments to develop valid solutions and pricing
          • Manage administrative functions of the Cisco partnership, including the ecosystem of partners for sales product offerings, sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization
            • Provide recommendations on sales and operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering market information, evaluating output requirements, and furthering the Cisco practice within the company.
              • Manage activities required to assemble and deliver accurate and timely solution and service proposals. Requires consistent interface with Solution Architects, Engineers, Account Executives, and Service Delivery personnel; and may also include interfacing with partner channels.
                • Track and manage sales through the entire process from open to close and provide milestone updates to all parties involved and facilitate internal communications with all necessary departments to ensure everybody is on schedule for completing the required deliverables.
                  • Make training recommendations and leverage partner offered training programs for the entire company as it pertains to Cisco.
                    • Serve as the dedicated Cisco Partner Administrator for the entire company by maintaining Continuant's Premier Partnership with Cisco and ensure the company is in compliance with all certification requirements with Cisco. Maintain a relationship with the Cisco Partner Account Manager for Continuant and any VPAM's for the company's Cisco partner 3rd party distributors.
                      • Work with customer service and sales to establish, document, and track customer references for Cisco opportunities.
                        • Analyze ways to reduce cost and improve service quality and execution of processes and procedures through comprehensive partner management and relationship practices as it pertains to Cisco.
                          • Support the sales team in a business and technical capacity by being knowledgeable on Cisco's product portfolio and service offerings.
                            • Available to provide support after business hours as needed.What You Need to Be Successful:
                              • 3-5 years' experience with Cisco Product suite; ideally in equipment system design, installation or maintenance
                                • Cisco training and/or certifications; CCNA Collaboration certification preferred
                                  • Prior presales experience with Cisco products and quoting
                                    • Experience working in Cisco Commerce Workplace (CCW)
                                      • Exceptional communication skills and experience presenting to executive level management team
                                        • Self-driven and have a history in the Telecommunications field with both TDM and IP telephony, knowledge of Cisco's Unified Collaboration portfolio (IP PBX, phones, voicemail, unified messaging, web collaboration, voice gateways, contact center suite, video) and/or competitive equivalent, as well as pre-sales engineering experience.
                                          • A background in large enterprises and/or large commercial accounts and understand how to approach desktop and application departments within a client to drive understanding and preference to Cisco's Unified Collaboration solutions.
                                            • Understanding and operational experience with a routed and switched data network.Preferred:
                                              • Operational experience in integrating to an existing TDM PBX. (Avaya, Lync, Nortel and Siemens)
