Position is currently located in Lacey until March 24th, when
the warehouse will permanently move to Dupont.

Pay Range: $56,000 - $80,000
The Tempur Sealy manufacturing site in Lacey, WA is seeking a
Manufacturing Quality Engineer.
What You'll Do:
Ensure assembly operations conform to general and mandatory
specifications.
Manage the implementation of new processes and procedures with
regard to the introduction of new products or equipment.
Coordinate with other plants to develop and implement standard
operating procedures for all assembly and quality processes.
Develop and implement improved standard procedures through the lean
process and tools; document so improved processes can become
organization standard.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What You'll Need (Qualifications):
2+ years' experience in Process/Manufacturing Engineering or
Quality Assurance in plant environment.
Process improvement knowledge in a manufacturing environment such
as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc., to drive operational
excellence system is a plus.
Six Sigma Green Belt training or certification required.
Engineering experience in process design/improvement, new product
implementation.
