• Lead the growth and development of our wastewater treatment practice throughout the Puget Sound
• Develop new relationships to expand our client base and strengthen relationships through commitment to quality and client service
• Attend and present at professional conferences that support our growth goals
• Work with and manage multi-disciplinary technical teams (Murraysmith staff and subconsultants)
• Manage work programs, project schedules, and budgets
• Guide and mentor our talented mid- to junior-level staff
• Provide excellent client serviceDesired skills and experience:
  • Project management experience, including developing scopes of work, reviewing invoices, and managing client communications
  • Managing municipal and public-sector projects (state, county, city and federal)
  • Comprehensive understanding of wastewater treatment fundamental theory, design practices, and local and federal standards and regulations.
  • Project experience with wastewater treatment, planning, design, and construction
  • Ability to lead, train, motivate, and work within a team
  • Ability to develop productive, long-term relationships and communicate with clients, peers, multi-discipline teams, and managementRequired qualifications:
    • BS in Engineering, Master's Degree preferred
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington state, or the ability to obtain reciprocity upon employment
    • Minimum of 15 years relevant engineering experience
    • Strong technical and marketing background
    • Active participation in wastewater industry associationsIdeal qualifications:
      • Client contacts and experience working in the Pacific Northwest
