Assurance Team Lead REPORTS TO: Program Manager LOCATION: Tacoma,
WA EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Employee Career TEAM is
seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Quality Assurance Team
Lead to support federal and state-funded workforce development
programs. This role is responsible for leading quality assurance
functions, ensuring data integrity, supporting compliance efforts,
and strengthening program operations across teams. Work will be
performed under the WIOA (Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act)
Program underneath the Pierce County WorkSource umbrella. The
Quality Assurance Team Lead plays a critical role in maintaining
high standards of data accuracy, documentation, and compliance.
This position works closely with Career Advisors, leadership, and
compliance partners to ensure all program activities meet
contractual and regulatory requirements while supporting strong
participant outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for a

Assurance & Compliance Oversight Lead Quality Assurance efforts
across WIOA and related programs to ensure compliance with federal,
state, and local requirements Review case files, enrollment
documentation, and data entry to ensure accuracy, completeness, and
adherence to policy Identify trends, risks, and areas for
improvement, and implement corrective actions Serve as a subject
matter expert on WIOA compliance and policy requirements Partner
with compliance teams to proactively address findings and ensure
timely resolution 2. Data Integrity & Reporting Oversee data
accuracy within case management systems, ensuring alignment between
participant records and supporting documentation Monitor and
correct data discrepancies, including enrollment records, service
tracking, and expenditures Support the preparation and review of
compliance reports and data submissions Maintain accurate and
up-to-date program records in alignment with contractual
requirements 3. Team Leadership & Staff Support Supervise and
support QA staff, providing coaching, guidance, and performance
feedback Train staff on data entry standards, documentation
requirements, and compliance expectations Collaborate with Career
Advisors and Team Leads to reinforce best practices and improve
data quality Foster accountability and continuous improvement
within QA and program teams 4. Operational & Process Improvement
Develop, document, and refine workflows, SOPs, and QA processes to
improve efficiency and consistency Partner with leadership to
strengthen program operations and ensure alignment across teams
Support participant lifecycle processes, including enrollments,
service tracking, and exits Assist with resolving operational
challenges related to data, documentation, and compliance 5.
Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with Program Manager,
fiscal teams, and external partners to support invoicing accuracy
and documentation Coordinate with fund source representatives and
compliance staff to address data corrections and reporting needs
Support communication and alignment between QA, program staff, and
leadership 6. Administrative & Program Support Provide
administrative and operational support across program functions as
needed Assist with tracking expenditures and entering
program-related data Complete additional tasks and projects as
assigned to support program success This position is expected to be
Hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at
the listed location, and the opportunity to work from
home/virtually. What Success Looks Like in This Role Data across
systems is accurate, complete, and consistently audit-ready
Compliance issues are identified early and resolved quickly with
minimal escalation QA processes are clearly defined, efficient, and
consistently followed across teams Staff demonstrate strong
understanding of documentation and data entry requirements Program
reporting is timely, accurate, and reliable Cross-functional
collaboration supports smooth program operations and strong
outcomes To Qualify for This Role, You Must Have : Associate degree
or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, data
management, or program operations Experience leading or supporting
teams, with the ability to provide guidance and accountability
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume,
detail-sensitive work accurately Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Suite, particularly Excel Strong organizational, time management,
and multitasking skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical
abilities Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in
a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication
skills Ability to handle confidential information with
professionalism and discretion Valid driver’s license Additional
Skills/Knowledge Career TEAM Would Love for This Role : Experience
in workforce development, career services, or WIOA-funded programs
Knowledge of WIOA policies, compliance requirements, and
performance metrics Experience working in a career center or case
management environment Familiarity with data systems used for
tracking participant services and outcomes Experience supporting

$64,000-$68,000/year Salary is commensurate with education and
