Billing Advocate Associate

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Billing Advocate Associate.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategies for reducing patient medical bills
Work with providers and insurers to process patient claims
Negotiate bills with medical providers, hospitals, and collection agencies

Qualifications:

Prior medical billing, coding, or claim adjudication experience
Familiarity with various medical insurance plans
Experience with Medicare Supplemental, Medicare Advantage, and Prescription Drug plans preferred
National health insurance knowledge and Affordable Care Act knowledge preferred
Computer proficiency in MS Office
