JOB DESCRIPTION -Title:Selections Coordinator - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Department: Interior Design DeptLocation: -Corporate Office (Seabrook, WA) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Supervisor: - - VP of Construction - - -Classification: -Full-Time, Exempt - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Pay Grade: - - - - -$65,000- $70,000 DOQ_________________________________________________________________________ -Job Summary:Seabrook, a thriving resort destination on the Washington Coast centered on the ideals of New Urbanism, community connection, and sustainable design, is looking to add an Interior Designer/Selections Coordinator to their interior design department. -Working closely with our VPs of Sales & Construction on the specification and organization of material selections for Seabrook's residential projects, the Interior Designer /Selections Coordinator will play a vital role in helping new homeowners customize their homes and facilitate clear and consistent communication between the sales, design, and construction departments. - -Purpose of job:

  • Oversee Seabrook's Homeowner Interior Selections Program: structure and lead homeowner selections meetings; maintain FF&E standards for residential interiors; communicate quickly and accurately to homeowners, sales, and -construction departments; create and revise homeowner specifications packages
  • Work collaboratively with planning, sales, and construction departments to guide interior design standards across Seabrook's residential portfolio
  • Create space plans and FF&E specification packages for Seabrook's commercial and workplace spaces -Main duties:
    • Conduct on-site homeowner selections meetings, working closely with home buyers to specify interior and exterior material selections for all new homes built at Seabrook.
    • Create detailed specifications packages for all new homes, including material selections, FF&E drawings and accurate upgrade pricing; convey selections to construction department in a timely and accurate manner to ensure homes are built according to client specifications.
    • Participate in design review sessions for and provide feedback on design standards, updated trends, and space planning for new Seabrook builds.
    • Work collaboratively with Sales and Construction departments to ensure design standards are met
    • Ensure materials library and homeowner selections reflects current market trends while also meeting budget and construction guidelines
    • Manage multiple projects requiring frequent communication, organization, and time management.QUALIFICATIONS:Essential:
      • Interest in interior design and willingness to follow design directives and graphic standards
      • Digital fluency and comfort using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
      • Strong organizational skills. -Position requires an exceptional attention to detail and ability to retain, collect, and convey information quickly and accurately across a variety of platforms.
      • Excellent communicator with a focus on high-level customer service. -Must be confident dealing with a wide range of clients and answer all communications in a timely and professional manner.
      • Self-motivated with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. -Dependable with strong time management skills. Desire to learn and grow with the department.
      • Ability to read floor plans and execute rough square footage takeoffs. -Training will be provided.
      • Drivers License and ability for occasional local travelWork Environment:
        • Work is mostly performed in office conditions; some fieldwork is required to perform site visits and on-site inspections & site analysis; the employee is required to attend weekly team meetings.
        • The employee operates standard office equipment and personal automobile
        • The employee has regular contact with resort town departments including but are not limited to: -Sales, Marketing, Construction, Maintenance, Homeowner Board Representatives, Finance Departments.
        • Supports the goals of the Town Planner through creative problem solving, decision making and a commitment to customer service. Performs similar or related work as required, or as situation dictates.Additional Details:
