Scheduling and Cell Logistics Cell Therapy is one of the most

incredible. The Position: The Director, Global Operations ,
Scheduling and Cell Logistics will be accountable for all
scheduling operations for Bristol Myers Squibb . Global O perations
include all functions in Scheduling and Cell Logistics outside of
commercial site account management. The position is accountable for
developing the strategy and driving consisten t execution of
scheduling operations , clinical scheduling, master data, and cell
therapy order management across the APAC, EMEA, and the Americas
.
- The p osition is o ffice-based in Boudry , Switzerland ,
Summit, New Jersey, or Seattle, Washington , with i n-office
attendance is required a minimum of 50% of the time.
- Evening, w eekend , and h oliday support are required on
occasion.
- International and do mestic t ravel is required ; travel will
not exceed 2 0 % . E ducation and E xperience:
- Master's degree or equivalent work experience
- 1 0 years of w ork experience , preferably in call center
operations , logistics , or supply chain.
- 5 years of experience in pharma/biotech working in a global
setting
- 7 + years managing teams, with experience building teams and
coaching and managing people managers; experience managing global
teams . Responsibilities:
- Lead a global team of 30+ S pecialists through A ssociate D
irectors in clinical and commercial scheduling operations, clinical
scheduling, master data management, and order management.
- F oster team health and engagement, champion cross-regional
collaboration , motivate people, and resolve problems that prevent
teams from succeeding .
- Set the direction for the Global Operations aligned with Global
Patient Operations and Scheduling and Cell Logistics strategy and
objectives ; hold direct reports and teams accountable for
delivering outcomes aligned with strategy and objectiv es .
- Develop the strategy and lead the execution of evolution and
expansion of global clinical scheduling operations as Cell Therapy
global clinical trials expand to new countries and disease
states.
- Select, prioritize, develop and deliver global operational
initiatives to enhance SCLT operational performance and long-term
scalability.
- Communicate strategic priorities to leaders for synchronized
approach to operational excellence.
- Lead internal and external communications and SCLT handling of
responses to major events i mpacting multiple treatments and/or
regions.
- Collaborate closely with Scheduling and Cell Logistics
leadership team to work with a global mindset; build exceptional
cross-region al relationships and process understanding,
collaborate on improving global processes, and minimize regional
nuances where feasibl e in order t o be a global team with
cross-regional and follow-the sun support.
- Lead and drive global , cross-functional , cross-department
projects aligned with Global Patient Operations and Scheduling and
Cell Logistics strategy as assigned.
- Sponsor and act as steering committee member for internal
working groups and projects.
- Maintain global KPIs and operational metrics , including
routine review and actioning.
- Collaborate closely with BMS Manufacturing, External
Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics & Trade Operations,
Operations Portfolio Leads, Clinical Operations, Cross-Functional
Operations, Quality and other matrix partners in ensuring alignment
on processes and communication and delivering a positive end-to-end
customer experience.
- Collaborate closely with Cross-Functional Clinical Operations
lead in driving cross-trial, global process harmonization and
improvement.
- Represent Global Patient Operations and Scheduling and Cell
Logistics in global, highly matrixed teams to support launch
readiness, clinical trial readiness, life cycle management, and
process optimization/excellence as assign ed.
- Develop operational budget including headcount plan and
justification of resources r equired to operationally execute and d
eliver on goals.
- E nsure responsible use of allocated portion of Global Patient
Operations budget including headcount, contracted support, travel,
